2016-08-20 Northampton to London

We arrived in London from Northampton after a 2 hour trip by taxi. I am amazed at how the taxi managed to fit 5 people plus luggages. We arrived at our hotel which is close to the airport. One of the pluses of the location is that the bus ride from the hotel to the airport is free.
After checking in, we went to London city centre. The first stop was the Cathedral. The Cathedral is extremely beautiful. Considering that it was built in the early 1900's, its design is similar to old churches and is worthy of being a Cathedral.

As one enters, one sees the mosaic and icons that adorn the Cathedral.

We attended the vigil mass and came back to the hotel.
